1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Sanctuary Signal by Alethos, LLC ("Sanctuary Signal," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, software, SMS workflows, and related services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

Sanctuary Signal provides church safety communication and coordination services, including SMS dispatch and alerting, role-based response workflows, administrative dashboards, onboarding and consent tools, and related support services. Service features may change as we improve platform reliability and safety operations.

SMS Communications:
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Sanctuary Signal, you agree to receive service-related communications including account notifications, team coordination, and service-related alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or request assistance by replying HELP.

Messages are only sent to users who have explicitly opted in via a web-based consent form.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared, sold, or transferred to any third parties for promotional purposes.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including permissions granted to staff, volunteers, and administrators.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with your organization policies. You may not use the services to send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized messages, or to interfere with the security or availability of the platform.

5. Fees and Payment

Paid plans, billing cycles, add-ons, and overage terms are defined in your selected subscription. You authorize us to charge applicable fees. Late or failed payments may result in service limitations, suspension, or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

The services, software, content, trademarks, and related materials are owned by Alethos, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the services during an active subscription.

7. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to protect non-public business and operational information shared in connection with service use. Confidential information may be used only to perform obligations under these Terms.

8. Privacy

Your use of the services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, including SMS consent and messaging disclosures.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanctuary Signal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to the use of the services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sanctuary Signal and Alethos, LLC from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay required fees, or create risk to the platform, users, or third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13. Links to Other Websites

Our website and services may include links to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, policies, or practices.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally in good faith. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in North Carolina, unless otherwise required by law.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted with a new Effective Date. Continued use of the services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
